- Description : Saint Spyridon is represented full length, centrally located and sitting on a wooden beautifully ornamented throne. He is clad in arch-hieratical chasubles that define his high ranking.
The plasticity and fine refinement in the manner his face and drapery are represented, strongly reflects, his solemnity and his strong personality.
A closed gospel book rests on his left thigh, while holding a crosier. His right hand is extended into a blessing attitude.
On the upper part of the icon against a gold background, inscribed in red majuscules the name of the saint: Ο ΑΓΙΟC CΠΥΡΙΔΩΝ.
His palms, his halo, the Gospel Book and his crosier are covered with metal.
