Description : Christ is shown at full length, on a simple throne with a curving dark green back. He sits facing the beholder on a round red cushion, with His feet on a smaller one of the same colour, which covers a part of the rectangular footstool. He has His right hand raised before his chest in blessing, while His left holds an open book, which rests on His left leg, which He has raised higher than the other. The black-letter inscription in the book reads: "COME UNTO ME ALL THAT ARE WEARY AND HEAVY-LADEN AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU". He wears a brown tunic and blue cloak, the folds in which are loose and stylised. His beard is short, but His long hair, parted in the middle, is thick and shoulder-length. The face has been modelled somewhat harshly, with sharp contrasts between the highlighted and shadowed areas. His head is surrounded by a halo containing a cross, with the inscription O QN. On the gold background of the icon, high in the corners in small squares are the initials IC XC, while at the level of the shoulders, divided into two brown rectangles, the inscription in gold capitals THE PANTOCRATOR can be seen. To the left and right of the halo two six-winged cherubim, their wings brown and blue, are to be seen serving the Lord. The features of the figure of Christ and the style of the icon place it in the 17th century.
