Description : The church is a single aisled basilica of the post-Byzantine period that has undergone some alteration through the course of time. The church is located in the area of Palea (old) Fokea, a place that is burden by the history of the Asia Minor, named by the inhabitants immigrated following their ex-patriation in 1923. The area that the new community was founded was the ancient settlement of “Analfystos.”
