  • Description : According to certain resources the church was constructed c. 11nth century and was refurbished in the 15nth century. The reconstruction arranges the church to follow the cross-in-square plan, with a vaulted dome with tiles at the top.
    It has been officially characterized as a post Byzantine monument and is under the protection of the Archaeological Service. For capacity reasoning in 1938 an exo-narthex was added and a bell tower also.
    According to the tradition the church “celebrates” every Good Friday.
