- Description : The history of the church is somehow lost through the pass of time. The church was founded around the 13nth century, following the architectural type of a single-aisled with dome. The masonry includes curved stones, and marbles that were taken from various nearby ancient relics of temples belonging to the classical or post-classical period, but mainly from the old theatre of Sykeon. It dimensions are big and the whole structure is considered very important, apart its worshiping reasons, serves as a monument of study for the Byzantine architects.
Its wooden sanctuary in the internal of the church has great representations of the Holy Saints and the frescoes are of great important, due to the fact that is well preserved.
