Description: In the central axis in a three-zone circular glory, Christ is clicking on the cross gates of Hades wearing a pinkish tunic and a golden cloak with brightened with abundant gold striations.
With brisk stride turns to the left, raise the right hand of the marble urn kneeling Adam, while with the left he holds a cross. On the right, in a similar attitude He rises Eve, whom she wears maphorion in red cinnabar color.
Behind Adam, huddle praying, watching the operands, the righteous kings and prophets David and Solomon, who wear royal clothes and crown, suggestive of their secular position, and behind them stand John the Baptist and Moses in a supplicating attitude.
Right behind Eve, more biblical persons are depicted. .Among them stands out as young man, wearing a pink cloak with dark striation, with his back turned to the viewer.
In the second level two rocky mountains converge in the center defining the central axis of the composition. Among the two schematically rendered angels on a smaller scale fly holding the symbols of the Passion of Christ, the lance and the reed strands. In gold -depth and in red majuscules, one can read: “Η ΕΝ ΑΔΙ ΚΑΘΟΔΟΣ” (THE DESCENT THE HELL).
