Description: The church of Saint Theodori is located in the village of Peta in Kouvaras area.
It is considered to be one of the most important chapels of the Byzantine period, but unfortunately due to recent renovation and an attempt to enlarge the church, it lost its original structure and the result was inappropriate. The chapel had undergone ugly alteration that were non coherent to the aesthetics of the old structure of the chapel.
The new church’s construction, fortunately interrupted, but still the cement covered the partial of the once beautiful Byzantine frescoes that dated to the 12th century.
